A warm welcome awaits at Craighead Care Home: our door is always open to family and friends who wish to visit.
Our 52 tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, 48 single and 4 shared, are all equipped with profiling beds, and most enjoy striking views over the River Tay. We actively encourage residents to bring small items of furniture, ornaments and pictures to make their room truly feel like their own and provide a homely living environment.
We have a full-time Activities Co-ordinator who creates an activity rich environment with group activities, such as exercise, bingo, quizzes and listening to music. Sitting around the piano, singing songs, is a popular way to spend a few hours.
Our Activities Co-ordinators spend time one-to-one with residents concentrating on person-centred interests – such as reminiscing over photos, sharing arts & crafts time or simply just reading aloud to the resident. We also have regular visits from outside entertainers including pianists and singers.
