Craighead Care Home, situated in Newport-on-Tay, offers excellent standards of Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care in a flexible environment for up to 56 residents.

Our home, which boasts stunning views of the River Tay and Dundee, comprises three units; Chesterhill is the largest with 24 rooms, Tayfield has 16 rooms and Forgan has 16 rooms. Our Forgan and Chesterhill Units provide specialist care for residents diagnosed with dementia.

As well as a tastefully decorated interior which includes a comfortable lounge and piano room, residents can make the most of three separate garden areas. This includes a greenhouse for the green-fingered, and a wooden gazebo providing shade on hot summer days.

Craighead Care Home is situated just three miles from Dundee city centre and offers views across the River Tay and beyond. Fantastic transport links, with a regular bus service which stops outside the home, ensuring visiting your loved one is easy.

Craighead Care Home has 52 tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, most of which benefit from striking views over the River Tay. We actively encourage residents to bring small items of furniture, ornaments and pictures to make their room truly feel like their own and provide a homely living environment.
